Brief History of Masks

Plagues Pandemics and Publicity –  Plagues, called by many names, are recorded throughout history, as will be the current Corona Flu Virus coined COVID-19 (COrona, VIrus Dated-2019). Ignorant man believed such pandemic purging’s of society to be necessary to the “balance of nature”, as though nature had a brain and could somehow reason what was best for humanity. Such people historically called on Tonantzin, Prithvi, Zemes máte, Papatuanuku, or Gaia – the list goes on – believing that their gods must be angry. Religious sacerdotalists touted Creator God was using plagues as punishment for sins that only they could fix. Plagues happen. With the possible exception of the Garden of Eden, there is no stopping them. Little can be done to predict their arrival or their passing. Plagues are a sampling of what Hell is like led by antigod.

According to the periodical, CHRISTIAN HISTORY, it was believers in Jesus Christ that dared chance caring for victims of sickness, terminal injury, the aged dying, and the diseased, such as leprosy. These “Christians” driven by the compassion of Christ, their example, were often the only people to offer care during various plagues. Many died. Around the second century, there were trained physicians, but the poor and outcast could not afford them. “During this time”, writes Gary B. Ferngren, “in spite of great danger to themselves, churches carried on an active ministry of philanthropy that included the care of the sick.” Later these buildings became known as Hospitals.

Secular world “plague Doctors” would chance contracting a disease, virus, or sickness to “practice” their trade, charging exorbitant prices. Drawings of these Middle Age practitioners in long beaked Paper Mache masks fill medical history journals. They filled the beak with perfume-soaked cotton to off-set the smell of death and rotting flesh and became known as “quacks” for looking like ducks. Other masks of cloth were worn during WWI for much the same reason. During that Flu epidemic in Seattle, Washington, the police force donned large “cloth patches” soaked with their wife’s (or significant other) perfumes in 1918.

During today’s COVID-19 flu outbreak, few scent their masks, or even clean them leaving them to ripen with all matter of mucus and germs much like a Petri dish – the breeding ground of infestation. Not unlike that of the Middle Ages, our mask revolution is more of a publicity fashion statement for quacks who are politicians that have no or little medical education. Believing a designer mask can filter out an 80-120 nanometer (that’s one-billionth of a meter) pathogen that sees cotton like we see chicken wire is quackery redefined. Like the recent toilet paper hording, mask hording will go the way of the double-knit leisure suits. Just another memento of the ’20’s for your grandkids to wonder about.

  1. I always wondered where the “COVID-19” name came from. They must have asked a Jr. High Home Room Student to come up with COrona VIrus Dated 2019. Just shows what kind of mentality is behind this fraud! The only reason they came up with a name change is because Coronavirus has been around for decades and it shows up every year as a little different strain of the flu. To make it more frightening, it needed to be some brand new virus that they could claim was a new, extremely contagious and more deadly virus that would probably to kill over two million people in America. Bill Gates’ gools did not get the virus mutations quite right and it did not turn out to be the doomsday virus designed to accomplish his agenda of mass population reduction around the world.

As it turns out, the release of this strain of the Coronavirus did become a very successful trial run of employing the FUD factor (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) to implement the lockdown control over the world population. The world population reduction zealots now know that they have the process established to lock down the world with the release of the next manufactured Coronavirus that really is deadly will become a genuine pandemic.
