Do masks “flatten the curve”?

Mask Mandates

We all know and suffer from a case of mask mandates here in Montana… Do they work? Are they flattening the curve? Matt Margolis goes over the data comparing case counts and mask mandates. IF mask wearing was effective, you would see an impact when mask mandates are made. However, that’s not the case.

The Data

People have said that we don’t have any data. However, we have nine months of data here in the US and seven months since the initial lockdowns. Included are the graphs tracking case counts, lockdowns, mask mandates, fines imposed, etc.

Rational Ground

It’s Time to End the Mask Mandates

There’s no sound data that suggests the need to wear masks. Instead it points to the fact that masks do very little to prevent the inhalation of small particles. And as shown above, the actual implementation of mask mandates haven’t had an impact in “flattening the curve”.

A cloth mask or face covering does very little to prevent the emission or inhalation of small particles. As discussed in an earlier CIDRAP commentary and more recently by Morawska and Milton (2020) in an open letter to WHO signed by 239 scientists, inhalation of small infectious particles is not only biologically plausible, but the epidemiology supports it as an important mode of transmission for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Also, some places without mask mandates have done better than those with the mandates. Here’s a great article by William Sullivan at American Thinker about the reasons to end the mask mandates. Even though it was back in August, most of the information still applies.

What are Others Doing to End Mask Mandates?

In Florida

In Florida, conservative lawyer and state House Rep. Anthony Sabatini cheered the defeat of Wolf’s draconian COVID-19 orders. “Some in the Judiciary are finally waking up to the fact that the government is not always right — and that the constitution is not suspended during an emergency,” he told me. Sabatini has filed 15 ongoing challenges to the Sunshine State’s lockdown measures. “We’re looking forward to winning.”

In Colorado

In Colorado, I joined a similar lawsuit with state House Rep. Pat Neville to challenge Gov. Jared Polis’ whopping 166 COVID-19 executive orders, as well as multiple public health orders issued by state and county health departments. As in Pennsylvania, our state Supreme Court declined to hear the case. So we filed in Denver District Court two weeks ago. Polis and other government officials are on notice: No more kings.

In Orange County California The Healthy American was suing the board of supervisors for Fraud. Because Fraud is a felony, there’s prison sentences behind it. The county overturned the mask mandate the next day.

Masks Have Been Tried Before

Did you know that masks were tried during the Spanish Flu of 1918? The following is an excerpt of an article showing the impact of mandatory mask wearing and the subsequent mask requirement removed. This was during the Spanish Flu of 1918

W Vaughan. Influenza: An epidemiologic study. Baltimore MD: Am J Hygiene. Monographic series. 1921. 1. 241.

From a historian regarding the ineffectiveness of wearing masks during the Spanish Flu:

The quarantine, isolation and mask-wearing failed to diminish the spread of the influenza. Instead the practices likely increased fatality and had disastrous economic consequences. The medical policy of 1918 was contrary to the medical science of 1918, and the destructive practices of quarantine, isolation and mask-wearing were largely abandoned.

Spanish Flu Deaths Really from Bacterial Pneumonia

Dr Fauci and others have researched the Spanish Flu and found that almost all, if not all deaths from the Spanish Flu were from Bacterial Pneumonia.

Masks Are Causing Bacterial Pneumonia

If you’d rather reduce your chances of catching bacterial pneumonia, don’t wear a face mask! Doctors are finding that bacterial pneumonia is on the rise due to the wearing of face masks.

In a study by doctors, they’ve found that masks can cause lung issues due to mask particulates and the bacterial petri dishes on your face (masks).

Masks Are Ineffective At Preventing Respiratory Pathogen Transmission

In the following article, study after study found that masks weren’t effective at preventing disease. Some noticed a very slight reduction to getting flu like symptoms and others didn’t notice any effect. Read the article: Masks are neither effective nor safe: A summary of the science.

Over 2,000 Belgian Medical Professionals Oppose Continued Measures

We, doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore.

The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.

We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties.

Bacterial Pneumonias On The Rise

Mask Particulates Partially To Blame

Some doctors have found as they’ve researched the safety of masks that mask particulates may be breathed into the lungs. If too much of this occurs, it can cause problems in your lungs.

Bacteria Grown In The Mask Partially To Blame

Masks are a fertile environment to grow bacteria. Recently, in Michigan, there was an unusually large outbreak of strep throat among public school students. The wearing of masks have also produced life-threatening legionella pneumonia and strep. Oral bacteria, when it gains access to blood and deep tissue, can cause:

  • pneumonia
  • abscesses in the lungs
  • subacute bacterial endocarditis
  • sepsis
  • meningitis
  • type 2 diabetes
  • hypertension
  • cardiovascular disease

Main Cause of 1918 Spanish Flu

Bacterial Pneumonia

The Spanish Flu is credited with causing the death of some 20 to 100 MILLION people! However, after extensive research, researchers found that close to all if not all deaths had bacterial pneumonia.

Predominant Role of Bacterial Pneumonia as a Cause of Death in Pandemic Influenza: Implications for Pandemic Influenza Preparedness

From their research they found it important to stockpile antibiotics and vaccines against bacterial pneumonia. Do we have sufficient quantities of antibiotics to address bacterial pneumonia today?

What Caused the Pneumonia?

According to Winter Watch, the Pneumonia was brought on by new experimental vaccines injected into willing test subjects… Soldiers. The outbreaks of the disease took place in 14 of the largest training camps.

The PCR Test Used to Test for Covid-19: Is it Reliable?

What if I were to tell you that the PCR test being used to test for Covid-19 does not specifically test for Covid-19?  Yes, that’s right, this standard test does not give a positive or negative reading for Covid-19.  Rather, it detects DNA that could be related to a number of different coronoaviruses.  So, why are we relying on this test to determine safety protocols and lockdown measures?  Beats me.
